Sam's Bar and Grill

My buddy and I decided to try this spot after watching a movie at the AMC near by . We were looking for a spot to grab a bite to eat and chose this one. 1st place is small, it offer free parking right next to the bar. As we walk in there's no one greeting you or directing us where to sit. We finally sit down they offer a decent menu however only downside is that their menu has no drinks section. We decided to try the avocado burger which was great and big too, bigger than we expected. Prices were resonable. Later Helen came in and attended us she was friendly overall had a great energy to her. Food too a bit to come but burgers were delicious so we overlook it. Overall its a decent little spot to try if your in the area.

A true staple in the Port Chester community! The owner & bartender are incredibly friendly, welcoming, & down to earth. The beer-battered sandwich & wings are phenomenal & definitely don’t pass up on the Sam’s sauce! It’s a smaller spot but the service is great, the bar is spacious & there are large TVs throughout. Great food, great people & a laid-back atmosphere that keeps you coming back!

The chicken quesadilla is incredible!!! The bartenders are great. Our “after hours” place, they work til 4

Went there with my buddy around 7:30 on a Saturday. Found two stools at the bar. Dogfish head on tap we enjoyed. Had a quesadilla very good bar grill type style. Well done. Bartenders were very friendly, exceptional, and welcoming. Had a lot of fun here. Parking lot on the left side of the building.

Personally I think this is one of the most underrated food spots in all of Westchester County. I live near the border in Greenwich and its a go to. I’ll start with some must trys. First off you have their steak sandwich. It’s a full piece of steak, not chopped up Philly style. Always get mixed peppers hot and sweet. House made bbq sauce is already on it, but you have to ask for a side of Sam’s Sauce. Comes with fries and if you’re feeling a little wild throw those on there as well. Incredible. Another staple there is their wings. Super simple and straight forward. To give you an idea of how good they are we did a vote for the best wings in Greenwich (just over the border) and they won the fan vote. Like I said, anything on their menu is outstanding, but if you want the full experience to start I’d go with a steak sandwich and wings for an app. What the hell throw in some super tots and popcorn shrimp as well.
